Theres getting to be so many diffrent people on lit., I thought if everyone would post 1 picture of themselves as a reference, it would help for the new people to get to know the old and vice versa.

To start things off...

This is me, Snork, I'm a New Englander, from CT. I am currently living in the UK with my partner, I'm expecting my first baby in July and I seem to be spending a lot of time in Lit. recently.

Papi, fabolous Pic, topless guys in jeans is my biggest turn on photographically.
Is that a Gibson 'Les Paul' BTW ?

I'm quite musical - I have a 12 string Acoustic Guitar and I am really getting into the English Folk music scene here in the UK. I also play keyboards :) - I do a lot of my own midi arrangements for my web pages. But they take soooooooo... long

Fun though :)

Snork,

Yes it is...Ok...now you impressed the hell out of me...how dud you know my Axe was a Gibson Les Paul?? Great Guitar for playin' the blues...I play them a lot. Especially Zeppelin style..."Since I've Been Loving You" Is my favorite...that song can bring Papi to tears some times...

Les Paul

When I was at college in New Haven I dated a guy who had a 69 ;) Les Paul Copy. He made his own custom humbucker pickup which gave it a really mellow, almost wooden sound.
Very heavy 'weight wise' guitar though, I used to play around with it but I prefer acoustics. I have a Fender 12 String and a regular 6 sting acoustic.

My keyboard skills are my best :) I have a pair of keyboards - Yamaha DX-9 and a Roland D50.

Here is a midi I did late last year on the DX-9

The track is by a band called Goldfrapp - check out www.feltmountain.com

Snork,

That is AWESOME!!! There are so many guitars I like and want to get...The Wolfgang by Eddie Van Halen, Paul Reed Smith, Another Les Paul...

I tried that link but it didn't work sweetie...I have an Acoustic as well...a Washburn 6 String...

DAMN...now I could really fall for you ;o)

For geoshitties...er geocities, you have to copy the link and paste it into your browser to get it to work.

And snork, I love that Midi file. You are VERY talented!

Since I've been loving You

Papi,

I don't know much Led Zeppelin, it's a bit before my time :)
but my partner has some cd's of theirs.

I do like rock very much, and since I've been here in the UK I have heard a lot of music I had never heard before.

This is another song I sequenced last year - it has a lot of guitar voices, 2 acoustic, 2 electric and a fretless bass :)

It definitely loads in IE. Its by a German rock band called the Scorpions. If you can guess the track name, if you've heard of them I will be very impressed.

Snork,

I'm very familiar with the Scorpions...they have been around since the 70's and one of Papi's favorites...their lead guitarist is amazing as is their Rythm Guitar player...great duality in that band with the guitars and Heavy Rock...have loved them since the early 80's when I first heard them.

For some reason your link does not load sweetie...

Papi, you have to copy the link into your browser and hit enter to get it to work.

Cibo,

I tried that but I get the same error...what am I doing wrong?

Start either one...go to file - open for RM or File - Open URL for WMP. Copy the link Snork gave us, and paste it into the box and hit enter. Should send it right to ya and be able to listen to it.

Oh, and make sure the speakers are on. Hehe :)

Tried both and still says "Can't locate URL or File"

WTF...try rebooting and try it again. If something strange like that happens to me, I just reboot and its usually fixed.

Cibo,

Will try that and thanks for the technical help...I appreciate it
Not many would stop and help...again you have my thanks!

Papi

Well let me know if it works or not. Because I want to know why in the blue hell its not working for you.

links

Sorry, I didn't realize that geocities did that with mid links -

If you right click on the link and select save tarhet as you can save it a temp folder then play it in media player or rm

Sorry :(

SM:

Thats weird, because I did what I said and it worked just fine for me. *shrugs*

Snorck!

The midi is awsome! You are to much to believe!

Beautiful, brainy, and talented. And now you are going to called mommy. Wonderful for you.
