It would be unwise to assume people have - or will - read part or all of the posts you have made in the past; especially when you consider a steady influx of new visitors, or people who are simply new to the forums you frequent.

Put another way: if this was the first post from you that someone saw, would it really be the one you'd want them to base their judgement of you on?
