No Name or Author - But I remember some stuff
I remember reading this a few months ago. Don't know the name or author; Sorry.
Things I remember:
He (Main Character) owns a piece of land that is secluded from the world.
He owns some animals. I believe a cow and maybe a dog.
Reporter interviewed him and he got intro trouble.
His wife was killed and he joined the group that killed her. He got his revenge on those people. By joining that group is how he got into trouble. Think White Nationalists.
90% certain he got into trouble with the ATF. I believe an Agent later reviews files of people HE or the Local Office arrested years previous.
Reporter woman is hesitant at first. She still views MC as trouble. Exchange student girl is friendly. Main Character says something along the lines of "I'll help a friend". It's not taken as a sexual favor in exchange for shelter.
I believe the exchange student was from Spain. Why I have no concrete reason.
Main Character and the 2 women go into town for supplies. Bartender wants to trade for 1 of the women but the Main Character refuses. This is how he gets hurt.
Back at the house the Main Character is burning up due to an infection. He never told the women where the medicine was. The women drag him to the freezer. He tells the women where the medicine is.
