Post-Apocalyptic World - Men Have to Share Women

I imagine the set up where a disease has ravaged through the world resulting in a situation where women are only born along with a twin brother. Men can be born by themselves but the disease has changed the human genome such that girls simply aren't born anymore without a brother and the rate of girl's being born has also dropped drastically. There are less women to go around. But everyone still wants sexual partners. Men MUST share.

If two men marry an unrelated woman - they would be competing in the gene pool for her womb, and that would set up competition and unstable relationships.

Society has come up with a solution - brothers and sisters are expected to couple up together, and the sister will marry an unrelated man. The brother's genes still live on through his nieces/nephews that the sister and her husband will have. His sexual needs are met through his own sister. Through this triad arrangement, society is held together.

Any brother who marries his own sister and then shares her is considered the most honorable type of man. And men that participate in sharing their wife with her own brother, is also considered the most honorable.

The story would follow a hot triad where our main character marries a gorgeous woman who has had a relationship with her brother since adulthood began and how they share her sexually, romantically, and lovingly.

Why? They could simply start killing each other—sooner rather than later the numbers would even out again (unless, of course, the strong men would keep on killing the weak men). There's no logical reason why every man born after your apocalyptic event would be a born cuckold and embrace sharing his woman with whomever was present in her mother's womb before their birth.

Apart from that your incestuous cuckold utopia would be fatally free of any dramatic tension: it's a predictably boring scenario.

Well tweak it a bit if your worried about believability - the brothers produce some kind of antibody (unique to themselves and their twin) that keeps the sisters alive. Brother dies then so does the sister.


Regarding tension, this would just be the setup for any number of dramatic stories that could play out.
