Hi there. I'm a new writer here although have been an avid reader for a very long time. I've recently decided to have a go at writing my own story.
I've based the philosophy of the story around Tristan's Tale by IncomingPornDuck, nothing plagiarized of course, but the idea of having a story with sex in it, rather than just a sex story was definitely more my style and seeing it done to such perfection in that story gave me the confidence to try my own.
My story is about a man's rise to power, but because we lusts after it, but because he sees the problems in the world and has the talents to do something about it. It is primarily a scifi/ romance spread over a long period of time.
I want the erotic aspects of the story to flow naturally in the narrative rather than just sex for it's own sake. This is going to be a long project, so far I'm about 20k words in and the main characters (in this part of the story at least) have only just shared a first kiss, more importantly, I am nowhere near finishing this first part of the story and the erotic element probably wont come in until a bit later. Basically, the idea is for this to be one of those novellas that end up on Amazon, although I'm under no illusions of the likelihood of that happening, but one can dream right?
Any help - with the narrative, the content, the plot, character development or any other aspect would be greatly appreciated. I have switched on the IM as you requested and would love to hear back off you.
If this is too big a project, or the subject matter is not to your liking then I totally understand.
