okay, so i don't know how many remember, but a while back i did a Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Party thread, based on the XBV series of Dead or Alive games (basically, just the characters on the beach, specifically, a beach on an island owned by a young man who knows of the DoA tournaments, and hopes to provide shelter to those being hunted as a result of them

well, Dead or Alive is a tournament hosted by a company called DOATECH. it's really an attempt at weeding out candidates for a weaponry program, from what i understand. it also serves as a way for the company to remove threats to themselves.

characters are a bit more difficult...it would be easier for people to do a search on Dead or Alive
