Hello everyone. For those who dont know, I have been requesting a few stories on the Story Ideas Board, but I have come to believe that section wasnt appropriate for that particular kind of thread. I went to the general discussion board and one memeber said I was better off commenting here. SO before I start posting anything:

1. Is this a proper section to request certain stories
2. If Not then is there a better section to make them,
3. Can a section be made for fans to request new types of stories that the authors could pick up if it matches their niche

Also. I asked before but is it safe to post links to videos. I have a few ideas inspired by specific youtube videos and I wanted to post them to show what Im talking about

I don't understand why Story ideas isn't the right forum. That's what this sounds like.

Yes, I thought Story Ideas is where readers go when they want to make suggestions or requests for stories. I have no clue how many writers go there for inspiration though.

People do post links in threads, yes. They might get removed by a moderator, might not - it seems to depend on topic and content, from what I see.

Most folks just write what they want, not what others request. You should try writing yourself!

Or you could try your luck with a "Can someone recommend me stories that involve [subject]?"-thread.

The moderator of the Story Ideas forum has a very narrow idea of what goes there. She has a history of dumping posts that seem best located there off into other forums.

Nephlim14,

It certainly sounds like Story Ideas is the best board for what you seek, but I'm not sure how many authors write tales based on what they find there. That may be why you haven't received many replies.

This is actually a good idea. I could write a thread similar to the "Looking For A Story". People could describe the type of story they are looking for and someone (like the authors) could respond with a title or two.
This sounds good?
