I have heard from people that no longer post in the forum, because it always invites a new wave of 1-vote attacks, that a new 'Divide and Conquer' attack may be underway.
Recently they have gotten anonymous feedback e-mail claiming that the latest 1-vote attacks are because the writer supposedly feels that authors in a specific story section are voting against authors of other types of stories.
I have done enough research into the voting fraud problems to suspect this is simply a new angle to get author's angry enough to help the trolls by engaging in revenge voting. I have communicated with enough victims of fraud voting/1-votes to know it is happening to top rated stories in every category.
Some of those I heard from, that were recently attacked, have been very supportive and helpful to me in trying to eliminate the Troll/Bandit Factor, efforts that resulted in the reform suggestions I posted in this forum recently.
It is unfortunate that you can't see the distribution of votes for each story so all could see how widespread the 1-vote attacks are.
