Ok...I'm not a writer by any means, but a long-time story conaseur. This story could ultimately follow several different directions, but here's the main premise:

Four couples, in their mid to late 40s, decide to embark on a sexual adventure into swinging, in order to spice up their marriages. While initially their activities consist of basic male/female swaping, it soon becomes evident that their are strong same-sex interests on all sides. The four husbands begin to feel strong sexual attractions and deeper romantic feelings towards one another, and the four women begin to notice a similar bond developing etween them. Ultimately, the couples decide to split up for a few days, with the four men taking an erotic trip together in order to explore their feelings and fantasies, and the women doing the same thing. This story could either be written in the third-person, or from the male and female perspectives of one of the couples involved.
Any thoughts?

8 people is a lot of characters. I'm not saying it's not possible, but to tell this story well would be a huge challenge. I suppose since you're really telling 2 four person stories it would be a bit easier.

I do agree that 8 active characters seems like quite a lot to keep track of, but it could be doable depending on what way it's taken and how much "back history" is added.

Of course, the story could be of only 2 "straight" swinging couples to start with and maybe later in the story (or in another submission) they bring another couple (or couples) into the play?
