He was the silent type, as in I remember all of the few sentences he ever spoke to me that used more than 3-4 words. The stroke he had a few years before he passed didnt help. Would just love to know his opinion on so many things.

My grandfather. He was such an important part of my life growing up. He was an aerospace engineer for McDonnell Douglas, and did work for the Apollo missions. No matter where I lived, he was always a phone call away, ready to help me with my math homework.

He died when I was twenty-four, right after my son was born, and I so wish they could have known each other. I still talk to him quite a bit, hoping he can hear me
