Let's hear some story ideas with this superior and subordinate dynamic. Let's keep the Weinstein non-con stuff to a minimum. And remember either can be the aggressor. I have something percolating in my brain, I'll post it up tonight.

I have a problem writing* a story where a person uses their positional power to take advantage of someone else. That just strikes me as too creepy. But I have no problem (and take delight in) stories where the supposedly less-powerful person takes advantage of the other one. Hence I have a daughter-pursues-daddy story and a son-pursues-mom story. I even have a student-coerces-teacher story.

*I don't care if other people write them, but I probably won't read them.

I'm not a big fan of power imbalances as described, however I do enjoy stories where a strong person cedes their power to someone else. Something similar to the movie Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels. In the movie two conmen are battling to see whose the better con artist only to be blindsided by an even better con artist.

One idea of the top of my head is a business executive meets a "lowly" secretary or temp worker. There is a spark between them and the temp worker becomes the dominate one in the relationship. It could be an S&M tale or not.

Cop pulls over a female for (legitimate but small) traffic offense.

Isn't gross but gets a tad investigative when no real reason/flirty when there should be absolute zero.

Realizes he's fucked up when driver starts quoting the specific statute numbers and realizes he's pulled someone from the DAs office.

She fair and doesn't ask for special consideration for her violation but makes his inappropriate conduct clear to him.

Thinks it's blown over but sees message(s?) from the DAs office on his work vmail on his next day back on his proper shift cycle.

Let's see.

A shameless beauty contestant finds out that a male public figure is going to be the judge at an upcoming pageant. She seduces him and on their first date she rattles off a list of filthy things she'd do to him if he would vote for her. Winning this pageant could lead to a state contest and from there the possibilities are endless. Modeling contracts, spokesmodel opportunities, rich men, etc.

He agrees, so she does, but in the end, he doesn't. After the pageant she finds out she's not the only one that pulled this with him. Her long time frenemy did as well. Turns out he voted for the neice of a business partner.

These two unscrupulous ladies embark on a plan of revenge against the man. No heroes, just villains plotting against each other.

I think one way to do it is having more than one power imbalance in play that balance things out. Loosely based on a fantasy I had about one of my past bosse:

Boss in this case is a short, thin but too curvy to be petite, woman. Her subordinate is a large guy a foot and a half taller than her and pretty stocky. He’s a good employee but she soon sees his eyes wander over her when the business goes out for drinks one day.

She confronts him alone and, with the booze loosening his tongue he admits he finds her incredibly attractive. She tells him that it will never happen: while it’s not specifically against the rules, it would hurt both of their careers and besides, she could never feel safe being around someone who could so easily overpower her.

She instantly regrets what she says and leaves but that night she thinks about her employee using that massive frame to pin her and mount her, to take her over and over again while she is helpless (to clarify she doesn’t dream about being raped but in her fantasy the size and strength difference makes her unable to take charge at any point)

When she wakes up in the morning, she calls her employee and apologizes for saying something so offensive to him, he’s a good guy and she knows he would never force himself on her but they’re employee and boss and it just wouldn’t work.

Employee forgives her but then says his piece: she can fire him at anytime, he’s been there less years than him and one word from her would terminate his job.

She of course protests and employee says: that’s the point. They both have power over the other one just in different ways…so if the only thing keeping them apart is their status or physical difference, then why shouldn’t they be together?

Boss, with thoughts of her fantasies from last night playing in her head, agrees and the two start hooking up that very day.

A female district attorney reads about a young man in jail and goes and talks to him. She finds out that this man was arrested on rather suspect charges by an arrogant police officer. He is being jailed for human trafficking when really he was just taking nude photographs of an aspiring model. Scared at being arrested for public nudity, she claims she was forced to do it.

She drops the charges so the man can go free, but then says he wishes he could stay; he's homeless and out of money and so while jail sucks, its a place to sleep and get meals. Feeling compassion for him, she has better idea and puts him up in a hotel room for the weekend, and has meals delivered which she pays for with her own money.

Along the way to the hotel, they discover things about each other. She is older than him by a dozen years, but has a husband she suspects is cheating on her. He is an aspiring artist who specializes in nude photos, often times in public places. She has exhibitionist tendencies, but because of her career and marriage, cannot indulge. Reluctantly, he wins her over in dabbling in public nudity; filling her car with gas while nude, getting their delivered pizza while nude, and in the morning goes to a park where she strolls nude. On many levels, she feels free and invigorated.

A week later he shows back up at her office, and shows her the pictures of her nude and blackmails her, telling her he will show the world her nude pictures unless he can take nude pictures of models in her district so he can sell them and make a living. Surprisingly she just laughs and kisses him on the cheek telling him that she never would have prosecuted him anyway. Her county was always a safe haven for exhibitionist expression.

What he does not know is, she is having a hard time mentally with her job.

A few days later she approached by the attacker again, only this time they have a deep meaningful conversation. Of how her job is ruining peoples lives. While they must face the consequences of their actions, she watches some people go free, and some get every day possible handed to them. It ruins families and lives. He in turn explains that he has anger issues and gets frustrated and doesn't know how to vent his anger. She tells him not to take it out on other people, but to take it out on her. He is hesitant until she lets him know, she really does want sex to get out her own frustrations and that for the last few days has been doing what he said, wearing stockings for him.

It ends up being rough, passionate sex, and just what they both need. I have no issue with your style of ending. Mine was an added, unexpected twist, but it need not be there if the story does not need it.

Solid premise. A good hate fuck scenario. It's hot, fiery, and ultimately satisfying. A neighbor comes into her apartment after and the room is a shambles.

"Did you get attacked?" the neighbor asks.

She woman replies with a wolfish grin. "Uh, yes, and then at the same time, a huge, resounding no."

This idea might be too much I admit...

But the story starts out at a strip club just before the LUNCH time shift. There is talk among the ladies of a dancer the night before who was "sent to the basement". It is never revealed what happened there, but it is established, the dancers know its bad to get sent there.

On stage the main character starts her shift of undressing, there because she is older and can no longer do the evening shifts where younger ladies are expected to dance. As she is about to start undressing her twenty year old estranged son comes in. She is appalled as she has not seen him since her and his father divorced years before, with the daughter staying with her, and him with his father. Since then there has been no contact. But it makes it clear, he is not leaving just to make his despised mom uncomfortable at undressing before him.

Needless to say, she is totally off her game as she does her strip act. He then complains to the manager and then she is taken to the basement. There we find out what the punishment is. Knowing repeat customers are the lifeblood of the business, the disrespecting stripper is expected to have sex with the customer that complained. She tries to tell the bouncers the situation, but they won't hear of it, and so the son, in full retaliation; takes his mother.

As he does, the dynamic changes. Despite being wrong, it is also so right as they slowly rekindle a torn relationship. She missed her son so much, that she does not care if it is just physical, Anything she can do to be with him.

But when the manager of the strip finds out that he caused a mother and son to be intimate, he sets out to silence them. Now on the run from a murder-inspired manager, the two realize their life depends on the other as they grow closer together as they try and stay one step ahead of a man bent of murdering them both.

The interesting thing about Positions of Power is, they can exist even though a person may not really know they have immense power. This have can have a broad range of story ideas...

Take for example a twenty-something college girl. She most likely has little money, so if the transmission goes out in her car, the exorbitant repair cost would be really impactful, and a cause of great stress. A mechanic willing to toss in used transmission for her, becomes an instant hero. While he might have a used transmission sitting out back, and the skills to install it, the burden for him is not high, yet its a repair part and skillset the young college girl really needs. What she might not understand is, her young, supine body is something the mechanic really wants. From that a story can develop, but perhaps with the power dynamics changing. As she sleeps with the mechanic every Friday evening for eight weeks to compensate the mechanic for the repair, perhaps she falls in love with him? Or begins to deeply hate the man? Or realizing bartering is a form of prostitution and suddenly that moniker does not seem so vile to her. Or maybe her college boyfriend finds out how she is paying for her car repair and gets involved? Maybe the latter acting out in a jealous rage, or ending up in a MFM?

The position of power need not really be traditional or stoic. It can flip flop as a character realizes they have a trait or skillset that is intensely wanted. Great story ideas can stem from those shifts in power perspective.

Like most people, I love a good underdog story. I know in Rocky, the ending was a surprise because he did not win the fight, but that was a special ending for a specific movie. The potential for positions of Power is huge however!

I understand a lot of erotic stories are not well written so it becomes an abuse of power, and that is the only theme there is to the work. As an example, if left to its own, my earlier suggestion of a college girl needing a transmission could end with her being sexually taken advantage of because she is younger and good looking for the mechanic.

With a little creativity though, it could work out so that she turns the tide on him. Maybe she blackmails him by threatening to tell the mechanics wife about his atypical car repair payment methods. Or she gets pregnant and has child support payments to hold over him. Or maybe she is an undercover detective who is weeding out unscrupulous mechanics since there was only a disconnected wire on her transmission; it never needed to be replaced. The story ends with the mechanics arrest.

It seems to me in real life the power card has been played since time immemorial with almost predictable success... to very willing "underdogs". Very often it is the latter whose morals can be questioned and who may have been, in pursuit of wealth/career/position, hugely willing to abandon propriety and self-respect.

The classic Hollywood casting couch scenario is a case in point. How many of the female - and perhaps male - stars of the silver screen who now have an adoring public were once willing to do the unmentionable, precisely in order to leave the car wash and climb the ladder?

But I've loved you as more than a sister for a long time and when I was 20 and an idiot I didn't know how to deal with it. I shouldn't have violated your privacy and I'm sorry. I just want you to know that everything I have will always be here to help you and your kids even if you never talk to me again."
