I hope this is the right forum for this. I don't post photos here, but I do love to be the subject of the camera's lens when my mood is right.

I learned the joys of posing in erotic and blatantly sexual styles by doing so for my husband many years ago; we still enjoy this activity a lot.

But in recent years I've also posed for a small number of close friends. They're long-term friends, trustworthy, and I don't worry about them being free with the photos. I've posed multiple times for one guy, and twice for his wife. My husband was there for it over half the time, and was aware of it when he was not. The posing generally involved some happy sexy fun with the camera person during the sessions too. The poses range from the coy, teasing type to the extremely explicit.

I also pose for another female friend of mine. My husband is generally not there, but knows about it. These poses tend to be more 'artistic' and while they don't always involve happy sexy fun with the photographer, they sometimes do.

What amazes me is how much I enjoy posing for someone not my husband!! I've enjoyed intimate relations with our friends which didn't involve posing in the past, and that's delightful. But I find that the act of getting in front of the camera for them is incredibly arousing to me, and has been now for a few years.

Don't get me wrong, it's fun to pose for my husband, too. I'm just surprised at my response to posing for our friends.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Possibly not exactly like this, but Jane has posed for me on several occasions with one of our close friends present. An audience certainly did wonders for her.
;-)

JohnandJane, what wonderful photos!!! Thanks so much for sharing them!

We've tried 'artistic', like you've accomplished. I think I just end up looking dorky! Oh well, practice, practice, practice. Right?

I adored your photos where there were more than two people in the picture!

And now that you've mentioned it, it was a lot more exciting posing for hubby if someone else was watching, too!

Thank you for the compliments, but we have to admit the artistry is often simply a matter of pointing and clicking on a cool filter in photoshop. ;)

As for watching, we find that for Jane, being watched is the high point of the evening.

Our 'bar nights' are great examples of these high points. When we have a special friend over, Jane's sometimes the topless/naked barmaid, and she absolutely *loves* being watched and yes, sometimes groped by us as we 'watch rugby'.... ;)

And yes, we do have photographic eidence of this. No sense having the nights if we can't find a way to relive them later, right ????

J&J.

True artistry takes place in the mind of the photographer even before they even pickup their camera. Photoshop is great and I do not miss the smell of chemicals at all. The only exception is when you showed someone for the first time what happens when you do black & white printing. It truely is "Magic" to see an image appear out of nowhere in tray of clear chemicals under red safe lights.

For those whom are non photoraphers' by trade or profession, back in the day, when film was used. If you changed an image or added something, it no longer was called a picture but a photo illustration.

Now a days with digital, it is accepted method of producing images and the term illustration in photography is rarely used

It's a BIG fantasy of mine! If you look in my thread, you'll see that I have no problem posing for the camera with my husband behind it. We'd both love to either have someone else there watching or even directing what I do as far as poses & "whatever" else. :)
D.K.

I think this might be able to be attributed to the idea that while the human species might be drawn towards monogamy in an emotional sense (be it out of love or property), as far as sexuality goes monogamy more often than not causes repression of desire.

And nothing makes a passion or desire burn hotter than repression.

Very well put. :)

it's the thrill of putting your true self out on display and seeing the wonderful reactions. to be free, open, and uninhibited with the ones you trust and love

I believe it is because it is almost taboo to be doing something sexual with someone other then your husband it gives you a certain kick that you cant get from your husband thats why you enjoy it so much. Its good that your husband knows obviously but when he isnt around it could almost be like having an affair even though your husband knows about it.
If you know what i mean lol

would love it

I would love to have this type of relationship with a friend that I can pose for. I guess I am truly and exhibitionist as heart. My wife is not into taking pics of me or me taking pics of her. I wish I had a female friend to share this desire with. Any ideas how to find such a friend?
