Hey, 21/m living in SC currently but relocating to Portland in about half a year. Just looking for people to talk to and maybe meet whenever I head out that way. Also any good information about Portland would be appreciated i.e. the rental market, the social scene, employment ... thanks.

I am in NY rigt now but will be back in portland soon. Rent is pretty affordable and not hard to find a place if your not too pickey.
What are you looking for? City life, suburbia, rural?

I am too antisocial to give you much input on the social scene but there is a lot going on.

The job market sucks. I remember one piece of advice I got before moving out there and I wish I could have followed it.
Find a job first then move, or have enough money to get by for a good while before you find something.
