Okay, porn and humour haven't always had a terribly productive relationship, either on the screen or in print. Some of my story ideas have lent themselves to elements of humour and one struck me as an out-and-out comedy waiting to be written. It's received a pretty high Literotica rating, but only one feedback comment, so I'd be interested in readers' thoughts on how it works, both a raunchy tale and as a piece of humorous writing.

Thanks Mia, I'm glad you enjoyed Kevin's victory. He was a little bit bad, but everyone had a good time and I like to think that while the girls would have been furious when they found out, they would also have a sneaking admiration for his sheer cheek. Incidentally, the idea came from an evening some years ago when a girl at a nightclub hit on me because she thought I was working on the door - I'd come from a dinner party and was wearing a tuxedo. When she realised I wasn't security, she vanished in an instant. I thought afterwards, why the hell didn't I just play along?

So how did you come up with the Deep Tissue story? Was that a personal experience thing too?

Deep Tissue was all about guys and temptation and therapeutic massage seemed an excellent way to explore the subject, putting an unassuming guy under pressure. I had a similarly seductive massage from a girlfriend, which doesn't quite count, although it was a deeply satisfying experience minus the guilt that Ed fought with in the story. Oh yes, and I was naughty and self-indulgent and went for something called 'sensual massage' in LA a few years back (one was massaged everywhere and thoroughly to a state of advanced relaxation), which definitely fed a little bit into the story. So what were your thoughts on Deep Tissue? It's got the highest rating of any of my stories, but a good friend of mine says she likes the characters the least... Did you have sympathy with Ed's plight or admiration for Kelly's seductive wiles?

3-D characters

I don't know how to answer that. If I identify with the fiance I am diappointed with Ed. If I identify with the masseuse I like him. (I have some experience as the other woman). I loved reading Ed's thoughts.

You write three dimensional characters that are not totally good or totally bad. They just make choices that cause sex to happen in outrageous, imaginative and sexy ways.

I'm not surprised that Deep Tissue does well because it is a common fantasy among men.

Thanks for your compliments, Mia - like other writers of my on-line acquaintance, I am bouyed up by positive feedback. (I enjoyed chapter 7 very much by the way, and will pass on my thoughts soon.) I'm glad you enjoyed Ed's struggle with temptation, which he resoundingly lost. It occurred to me to write a sequel, but I thought it might be retreading too much old ground and not have the same inate tension, although I could always have brought in Kelly's female boss to make it wilder and had Ed mired in infidelity, possibly blackmailed into further encounters by the end of it. Just a thought... I've posted the link below for anyone else who wants a read. Thanks again.
