Porn is sex, sex, and more sex. Erotica is foreplay.

Erotica is sexually explicit picture/stories/etc. you like.

i.e.
That adult site is nothing but porn. I prefer this other site that focuses on Erotica.

Some cases blur the lines and are subjective. I choose to define porn as something where sex is the main purpose, the thesis, of the thing. I choose to define erotica as something where the relationship or the person is the main purpose, the thesis, of the thing and sex is the medium chosen to highlight that person or relationship.
