Porn Studio Needs Writers.

Hello Literotica Writers,

I'm a representative of the porn sites Nubilefilms and Nubiles-Porn. If you haven't heard of us, our films are some of the most popular videos on websites like pornhub.com and redtube.com. At the moment we are currently seeking part time script writers to add to our team. Each week we film several videos and we need a few creative individuals to think up these sexy scenarios.

Our employer is a big fan of literotica and figured this would be the perfect place to find the eager and erotic talent we need. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys writing erotic stories and wants to earn a few bucks on the side. Not only will we pay you for your work, but you'll get to see your ideas come to life starring hot big-name porn stars.

It's OK if you've never written a script before. We'll work with you and explain our writing process. You must be 18 years or older and comfortable working around explicit adult content. Script writers will work remotely from home. You just post your scripts online and on time for the weekly deadline. We then email you back notes for script revisions. Ability to make the deadlines, communicate with the team leader, and take constructive feedback is key.

Writers work on one to two scripts per week. Sometimes more if depending on our need. You will be compensated $25 per script.

Applicants should email us at [Open posting of email addresses on the forum is not allowed. These must be passed via private message -AH Mod] with your resume and a writing sample. The sample should be a simple one to two-page pitch for a boy/girl sex scene written in basic screenplay format. Start with an introduction that has a simple story and initiates the couple's intimacy, then the foreplay/sex positions, and then the ending. Feel free to use raunchy colorful language. Trust me, we've heard it all before.

Good luck!

Could you indicate roughly how many words are required per script?

It really depends on what site you're writing for. We don't really keep track of how many words we use per script. We do it mainly by pages. A script for Nubilefilms, which is all hot visual storytelling and no dialog, would be about a page and a half. A script for Nubiles-porn, which is mostly situational niche stories with light dialog, can be about 4 pages, give or take.

As you can see in this link below, scripts are not very dense when it comes to text. It's not like writing a novel where one page can be paragraphs and paragraphs of text.

I'm interested! Sending email now.

by the way, are you the person in charge of the webmaster account?

Your folks could read stories here in the categories you are interested in, pick out plots and writing you like, and pitch the authors directly. Saves a lot of vetting from our end.

Since silent films died a long time ago...are there scripts with no dialog still around?

A page and a half? Is that a Lit page and a half or a word page and a half? Two completely different animals.

$25 a script? I guess I could pump out 10 to 20 cookie cutter scripts every couple of days.

Friends have told me that most of the dialogue you hear in porn is ad-libbed. The performers are given a rough idea of what they ought to say during the shoot and they mostly take it from there. Memorizing a lot of prepared material is not a big part of the job description.

A lot of things about those scenes start to make more sense once you know that.

not that i've studied it, or anything...

but, i've noticed an individual actor will use certain phrases on a loop.

Lady Sonia (British) breathes "Oh, God," a lot.

Amica Bentley and Rebecca Moore (also Brits) are potty-mouthed hooers who are very vehement when they urge their stud to "Fuck that nasty cunt," etc.

Leigh Darby (yep, British) is, "Ooh, yeah, fuck that pussy..."

Gina Gerson (Russian) moans and goes wall-eyed often, which is effective cause she's tiny but still accommodates cocks of eye-watering size in her rectum.

should be fairly simple to script a scene.

I think I rather have them just moan occasionally.

Yeah, I figured that. The scenes I've seen with dialog leads me to believe they all might have a rough time remembering their lines anyway.

NF_Media_Porn: I'm game. Sent off an e-mail -- though on reflection, my suggested sex scene is probably too raunchy for the studio's standards. Be it noted that I come with adjustable levels of raunch.

She doesn't have a copyright on that.

A few years ago I came across a blog by a former porn actress named "Penny Flame." Her real name was Jennifer (something) and the blog was titled something like "Finding Jennifer." It made interesting reading, with a number of quotable (or paraphrase-able) lines, among them:

"When I graduated from High School I thought the only thing I'd ever be able to sell was between my legs."

She turned out to be a pretty expressive writer. I wonder if she might be around here somewhere.

Most relevant to this thread,

"All you need to be a porn star is a dirty mind and a great pair of boobs."

The dirty mind is important, because you have to be able to ad-lib all that drivel. There's a reason why I prefer classic porn.

I think I want to do this, just because all the dialog and most of the plot I've ever seen in porn feels like it was written by third graders and I don't think it would be hard to do better.

OP should do the legwork and look up my stories. Most are much too long, but I could see doing something around Getting Dressed (picture a voice over as the actress undresses, bathes, and tease-masturbates, with interwoven flashbacks and daydreams), and then the ending. And Drug Trial, with 90% of the plot and whinging removed, could be made into a short piece with a lot of visual action.

I have no interest in meeting anyone involved, but I'd want to have some idea what emotions a given actress and actor can portray. (Other than the obvious.) Possible to do video interviews and ask them to act out very short (non-sexual, fully clothed) bits to see what they can pull off? Are there audition recordings that cover that?

Some reportage for the community to this point: I've now done three scripts for these guys. For the most part I've found them agreeable to deal with, and the first two scripts were paid promptly according to the expectations they outlined.

I had to chase them a bit for payment on the third script, but they were eventually forthcoming. However, I notice that I haven't received a script assignment after that. This may be down to the time of year (they apparently don't shoot much over the holiday season), or it may not. I'll provide an update as I learn more.

There seem to be some internal communications issues with their operation -- it was only on submitting the third script that I got information about how they actually use EverNote and that they want illustrative images to go with the scripts -- but these issues haven't been major thus far.

Hey, wait. I thought they were in the business of producing "illustrative images." How much of their work do they want you to do?

Yeah. That gave me some pause, too. Why do I have to provide images if I'm describing the images like, pretty super-clearly? Isn't that the whole frigging point of a script?

OTOH it's relatively easy and not that time consuming to do, so I'm willing to roll with it, long as they're paying.

$25 per script is like telling a photographer you'd like to use his pictures for a photo credit, IMO.

Porn vignette scripts are very minimal, to be fair. It's not comparable to producing a script for a mainstream film, or even a mainstream short.

(Tongue in cheek) For $150/hour I'll search the internet for images that you could produce yourself. For $1500 I might be able to get someone to sketch it for you.

For $1500 I could probably round up some "stars" and we could just start our own studio :D

But seriously, $25 bucks? It's gotta take at least an hour to mess with this?
