I don't post here too often, but I do a bit of lurking in the Playground. Some of you know me, and have even met me, and I've been told repeatedly I should spend a little more time here. This is a much friendlier and less flammable forum than the GB. 
So I figured I might start my own fun thread. Who knows if this will take off.
The topic is: Porn Stars in the Mainstream. Which adult movie actors or actresses (using the terms loosely, of course) have you seen in mainstream movies? I have a feeling there are more out there than we think. And, on a related tangent, which mainstream actors or actresses would you love to see baring all and going at it in a porn movie?
As a small sampling, I submit the following porn stars who have appeared in adult films:
1) Tracy Lords. Banned from porn because she was actually a minor in all but one of her adult films, she's appeared in the film Crybaby with Johnny Depp and a few low-budget Sci Fi Channel movies.
2) Ginger Lynn. Alas, her exuberant sexuality and apparent bimbo-ness relegated her appearances (post porn) in mainstream movies to bit parts and B-movies. She had a brief cameo in Young Guns II as a brothel prostitute, held an abysmally pathetic starring role in a series of low-budget movies called Vice Academy (I think), and appeared as a love interest opposite Mark Hamil in the Wing Commander video game in the mid-90s, which also featured the actor who played "Biff" in the Back To The Future series. She returned to porn (possibly for want if anything else to do) in 1999, and has made a few adult movies since.
3) Nina Hartley. One of the iconic porn queens of the late seventies and early eighties, Nina gained at least some measure of post-porn respectability with her oral sex guide tapes and DVDs in the nineties. She also enjoyed a fairly flattering role as William H. Macy's sex-crazed wife in Boogie Night.
4) Julie Strain. The early nineties Penthouse Pet has appeared in a small number of mainstream (and cheap budget) films, including a little-known and a strangely engaging little work called How To Build A Monster.
5) Janine Lindemulder. Known mainly for appearing in girl-girl scenes before returning to mainstream sex with men in Pirates, it is not widely known that she played the fictional heroine in the opening scene of Romancing The Stone (1986).
