my wife and i borrowed a quite good video a few years back from one of my old college professors. we regretfully returned it and now i can't remember what the title is.
it was a full length movie with relaistic costumes, sets, adn dialogue. a period piece set in the Prohibition era. the plot revolved around a gambling casino (?) that doubled as a speakeasy, and the attampts by the detectives to "penetrate" and shut down the business.
the only person I can rememebr in it was Peter North, though that narrows it down to roughly 700 films...
does this ring a bell for anyone?
