No idea. Probably most people who would still be rocking a VHS doesn't have computer, either, LOL.

Actually, there are a lot of older titles that were never converted from film or VHS stock. While cleaning out a box in the closet, I began converting old family VHS tapes into digital media. When I got done, I did the same to a couple old porn VHS tapes I had, too. There were a few porn CDs I had from back in the day but they've been lost to time. I do remember the last time I got one to work, the video quality was really poor. CDs just didn't hold enough information to allow for video any better than 320x240.

I had 2 big purges. 1 when I stopped using a VCR I threw out my VHS collection that started when I was a teenager. 2nd one day I had enough and tossed all my DVDs and sex toys. The toys were used in to many woman and I could get everything I owned and more free in terms of movies in the Internet. Now I stream and have a select few toys strictly for me.

They're definitely somewhere in the house... Not sure where.

Coincidentally I just posted this in another thread. Sitting near the front door entrance is a wooden VCR cabinet with at least 500 VCR porn and old Playboy Channel movies.
We had a satelite dish when they first came out. Nothing was scrambled yet.
Sadly the new... old DVD--VCR player was rarely used and stopped working. I think it's rusty!
Need to soak it in the bathtub before we move away.;)

If it's just a regular old DVD and not a Blu-ray, you can easily convert those movies to something you can watch on your computer. I'm not advocating piracy, but if you already own a movie, you're allowed to make a backup of it, too. There's software you can buy that will do that.

If the disc isn't encrypted (and most porn DVDs and home movie DVDs weren't), you can put the disc in a computer's DVD player, open it via File Explorer, and copy the VTS_01_X.VOB files to your hard drive. From there, you have two choices. 1) Use VLC Player to view the files or 2) rename the extension from *.VOB to *.MPG. Just look for the files that are .99 GB in size. No reason to let old memories go to waste!

It's not really worth the time. The internet provides everyone with what they need.

my internet was getting changed over and i was home alone. All i wanted to do was look at porn online...but was on hold to phone company.
Broke out some old dvd/dvr that i had put together early 2000's and watched that while on the phone!
Some great stuff from back then...shame about the picture quality...240p max :/
