The 4 states with the highest percentage of black people went to McCain. Therefore, black people voted for McCain.

Just kidding. Actually 98% of blacks voted for Obama in both Georgia and Mississippi.

It's amazing that Mississippi elects republicans to national office. Democrats get spotted the black vote of 37%. (pretty much) That means the republican has to get their 50% out of the remaining 63%. Or almost 80% of the white vote. If they turn out in the same proportion. And looking at the exit poll from the last senate race the republican got 92% of the white vote. I was a little surprised by that myself.

Chambliss almost lost in Georgia and he got 70% of the white vote. There are a lot of white people in Georgia who will always vote for the democrat because that's the way their parents and grandparents voted. Real country folks. They didn't care about guns or abortion. Just that democrats were for the little guy.

I'm not against the little guy. I just never got a job from one. And I don't think government is much good at anything other than war and making people wait in lines.
