Poppy's Castle for the Wayward Knight or Wench is open now. All are welcome to the hospitalities, though Poppy can get a little grumpy now and then, she means no harm.

Staff we have an arriving guest at the Castle. Please do him kind and seek to meet his every need. Seek also that his Steed be fed and groomed in the stables and that his lance be polished well.

Here he come's now...He is known as Sir ForeverStiff. He looks a little odd but is nice enough and very gallant!

His wish is your command!

Perhaps he fell into a bog...oh lord.

Organize a search party! A white knight may have fallen into the bog again!

If you find him, fix him up and set him in a fine suite.

I shall return later to check!

(can someone find a lance repairer? Damn anti-lock shoes failed on the nag again! Someone might want to patch that hole in the door too).

Let me pick a nice bordeaux and perhaps, a blush...Claudia (servant girl), prepare a plate of cheese and bread and fowl!

Well done, girl! Looks delicious. You shall keep your head this day! :) Now bring it to the Sir Foreverstiff...and I will fetch the wine.

The search party comes thundering on their steeds back over the drawbridge to the Castle stables.

"We've seen no sign of this White Knight m'lady...he's nowhere in the bog!" Horses rearing wild and fierce.

"Tis well, my servants. He has arrived and is settling in from his journey. The pixies have been at play again, changing all the signs around. Check to see them straightened now before you rest your beasts! Also a hole in the door and the Knights lance needs repaired before the day is done.

Carry on now!"

Lady Poppy makes her way to Sir Forever's suite with wine in tow...muttering to herself about all the wildness of the day.
 
Piles of armour lay strewn around.

Arghh, much better Claudia. It does get so very hot under that armour you know. Best not unbuckle that one...

Just as the knights' breeches fall to the floor with a hapless Claudia knelt before him Poppy walks through the door....
 
*Lady Poppy's jaw drops and she laughs a great resounding laugh*

"Well Sir Forever! You see my servants take me at my word...when I said 'His wish is your command!'...Claudia was dutified in her understanding to provide your every wish."

"Good gods, child...here's join us in a glass of wine! Bordeaux or Blush? Me thinks Claudia's asking for the Blush!" Poppy brushes Claudia's blushing cheeks.

"No thank you, m'lady...if that be all right. I've done me job here and am needed in the kitchen. May I take my leave?" Claudia looks amused but discomfitted.

"Of course, lass. You've done quite well again...", Poppy chuckles.

Claudia takes her leave and Sir Forever smiles sheepishly at Lady Poppy.

*Sir FS takes a glass of Bordeaux from the Lady and runs his (gauntletless) hand down her cheek*

Apologies for the damages m'Lady. In my haste and frustration at having being mis-directed I'm afraid I overcooked the approach over the drawbridge.

I think I may have caused myself some mishap as I can feel myself stiffening even as I stand here gazing at your beauty.

Could you possibly have one of your servants prepare me a bath so that I may soak away these aches?

"Ah yes, that is already underway dear Sir. Raven will be your attendant for your bath with Wesley also available should you prefer a male attendant. Just dismiss the one who's services you do not desire. Both are equally gracious and will take good care of you.

The tub should be about ready now with lots of steaming water and some herbs known to relax the muscles...aches and pains will vanish! I have many friends who are healers...some sorcerers! So we have such mendicants available to our guests.

The towels are warming white and fluffly and here is a warmed robe for you as well. Let me take you to your bath. You do look weary. Here wrap this robe around you now and a fresh one is there waiting."

Lady Poppy takes Sir ForeverStiffs hands and gently warms them in her own. "Come with me now and while you mend and rest, I will have supper prepared and ready. I'm hoping some neighbors may stop by as well so we will have a feast."
 
And while all manner of things transpire in the castle lofts and private places...a feast is set out in the Banquet Hall!

HEAR YE! HEAR YE!

An Open House, GRAND OPENING, at the Poppy's Castle this evening! Come one and all and join the merry-making. Come join the feast and cheer!

The Banquet tables are laden with Brisket and Ham, Pheasant and Lamb and Flounder, too...all sorts of fresh & roasted vegetables and roots. Crusty Tuscan Breads abound and crumpetts if you please. We serve assorted exotic coffees and teas...carafes of these in all imaginable flavors and JUICES! We have ales, and wines, and mead and stronger spirits for those who wish them.

There are cakes and puddings...a special one we love called Khir made with rice and sweet yoghurt and cardamom! And Indian Pudding too!

Come join us and share our hospitality til the evening subsides for you or you fall asleep in your seat! Come on your own or bring a friend or party! There are many rooms within the castle walls for quiet parties or communal fun!

*Walking my horse slowly to the castle in the distance. Gleaming White armor of an un-natural shade. Long flowing locks and a halberd on the horse. I look to the distance finally to spy a castle.

*Knocking on the castle door.

Tis Sir Tenko. I apologise for the lateness oof the hour. But I was otherwise engaged slaying the beast known as 'Work'. Now I am tired and I hunger for sweet fare. May I gain entrance to your castle and the banquet Lady Poppy.

This should be fun. I do Ren faires whenever I get the chance.

Yay! Welcome, Sir Tenko! Please come in, come in and make yourself comfortable. Someone has come to the Feast! It pleases me :)! There is much comfort here for those who need a rest or haven for a spell.

I love Ren faires...have just gone to them, not participated.

Wesley & Claudia...please try to find Sir ForeverStiff...and see that he is enjoying himself and what, if anything, he might require! Then lead him here to me if he is amenable."
