What has happened is a small amount of Spinich has been processed and shipped by pre-packagers without being properly washed. The spinich leaves were contaminated with E. Coli which is a common bowel bacteria. The excriment from cows is rampent with it. So are most beef products, especially hamburger. E. Coli is easy to clean off veggies. It just takes a through washing. Beef products are harder, however, the bacteria dies with proper cooking. E. Coli is seldom fatal except in toddlers and the elderly.

The USDA has over reacted on the spinich thing by dragging all spinish off the market shelves instead of tracking down those packages that were contaminated.

It was those times I was punished and they wouldn't even tell me what I done wrong. But I like spinach now, or did, before this.
