You might have some adware or spyware programs on the machine that cause the popups. Are you using something like AdAware to clear out that kind of thing?

First, a minor quibble -- you are NOT getting pop-ups from Literotica at either place; You are getting pop-ups from some spyware program on the computer that has pop-up problems.

Ad-Aware or other spyware remover should cure the problem. Pop-up Stopper is handy to have for sites that DO send pop-ups, but Literotica isn't one of them.

I recently cleaned up a computer that was having a little pop up problem like the one you are describing and all it took was AdAware. In that case, there were porn pop ups no matter what sort of website you were looking at so it clearly wasn't the website but something else that had been planted on the machine.

AdAware is a handy little thing. As is PopUpStopper, which I also use. And both of them free!

Not strange at all -- Literotica doesn't send any pop-ups and you obviously don't have any spy-ware triggering them on your sytem.

I think the porn sites that set that kind of spy-ware don't think people will complain about it because they're "ashamed" of visiting a porn site to get that kind of spy-ware in the first place.

Also, ther are a lot of porn sites that are "fly-by-night" and don't stick around in one place long enough to be prosecuted -- legit advertisers don't dare use that kind of intrusive advertising because it's counter productive.
