After posting a couple of links on Baby's First Book" thread, My own browsing lead me to this; http://bestsellerinthemaking.blogspot.com/
and this; http://writerwhoisinspired.blogspot.com/

If you click on her "full biography" link, you'll see a whole bunch of other one-post blogs-- Try this one that purports to offer advice to budding "romance writers" in which she gives so many priceless tips that I feel it's impossible to quote just one-- luckily it's not a very long post, and there's only the single post in the entire blog.

But-- who is she kidding? Doesn't she realise that her own name is posted as the author of these glowing eulogies?

Maybe she's desperate.

Can't be easy for such a powerhouse in the world of literary agency, you know. Not with all those e-publishers out there . . . .

Can't blame a lady for trying, can you? :p

*wide eyed innocent look*
Damn! She's fantastic - such glowing testimonials.
*breathless enthusiasm*
Wonder if she'd take me on!

Lol, actually, I think there's another Litster who could beenfit from her wise teachings, and his name also starts with 'S.'

Although, "Daddy, romance me, I sighed" may not make it . . . .

Hahahaha...as if.

The Grand High Poobah of Pusillanimous Persiflage takes advice from no one. ;)

And this Rooney chick.

Does her arm get sore from patting herself on the back? :D

Alas, I recognized the agency that had (mis)handled my sci-fi novel amongst that group. I'm still at odds with them.

It doesn't surprise me that Miss Rooney is listed there. Anyone who logs in spam-like blogs on numerous forums is suspicious, at the least.

Damn, sorry to hear that, Slyc. :(

These people want to hear from you, it might be worth your while... http://www.sfwa.org/beware/index.html
This is fascinating!
And a good excuse for not actually, you know-- writing. :0

Lol!

Stella, baby, you make procrastination an art in itself.

ETA: Clicked the link. Saw a few other recognizable names, especially the agency based out of San Angelo. My novels are in literary limbo until I can get the whole mess sorted out. That's part of the reason why I started writing for Lit.

Now I'm wondering who would want to publish a full Time Management Agency novel, with all the 'naughtiness' included? :p
