Pony play is a fetish. The way I understand it, the person gets off on acting like and being treated like, a pony. I think there's a story here on Lit somewhere, maybe I'll go find it. Seems to me it's a weird form of BDSM.

I read one story recently (very strange in my way of thinking) about a woman who put in a butt plug with a tail on it, had a guy come out and put all kinds of tack on her including a bit and bridle, attached her to a cart and had her drag him all over the property. When they stopped to rest her, she was already very excited. He licked her a little and then they went back to her place. He put a condom on and did her while she was still all outfitted in her pony stuff.

Hmm. I had heard from some people that ponyplay didn't really include much sex - guess they were wrong. I dunno, this could be a phase I'm going through, but most of the websites I've gone to don't have much information on it. I've heard that the ponygirl masters brand their "stock". Eeek!

Prestige there is as much sex in being a pony as you and your owner wish there to be. Just like any other relationship. There is actually a rather good sized ponygirl/boy population in Second Life.

I have seen some of the stuff you can buy for them, much of it is just your general prancing about stuff, bits and gear and so forth. However there are rather interesting sexual things as well, one of my favorites was an animation set called pony breeding. Basically it was a ponygirl being bred by another pony or her owner.

I haven't seen it in action, I just liked the name.

I've only found a couple on the Lit story site. I'm working on one now, but am stuck with some of the details.

Pony play has a large following on the net, but here, not so much. I have had people PM me great pony girl artwork (check out AV and sig pic), but no stories as such.

To be quite honest, I really just like the idea of being a "pony", pulling someone around in one of those carts (aren't they called surreys...or something like that?), and getting to wear the bridle and the like. Not so keen on the branding, which I'm still not sure if they do or not, but I don't care much for the passing-around-for-sex idea that circles many of the ponygirl stories. If ever there was a time when I would have the opportunity to be a ponygirl, I'd try to keep it limited. But anyway.

Branding is one of those only if you both want to things. Besides for the most part when people about being branded they are talking about a tattoo in an obvious place, generally dressed up or down depending on who you ask as a pony. Which more or less means the same place they brand cattle and horses, on the rump or hip.

An actual hot iron branding I would assume is a pretty rare thing even among the more hardcore sadomasochist couples.

I am sure a whole two people will be happy to hear this one but I will see if I can track down a ponygirl and get a run down of the things they do. Sexually and otherwise. I'd google but as I recall the actual information is a more holy cow I can't beleive they do that to people type thing in porn sites.

Don't look at me like that, I got asked to make a stable sign and I being curious looked at the sites I found looking for a good picture to use.

I'll post it to this thread, I'd write up a story instead but heck it takes me so long to actually finish those you would forget all about it.

In most of the ponygirl stories I've read, they actually use hot iron brandings, something that I'm not looking foward to, but I must admit has held my curiousity for quite a while. I've tried to find alot more information, but it's been quite hard to on a slow-arse laptop with friends around. x_x

Please do not confuse the fantasies in stories you read on the internet (however often the authors swear that they are true) with what happens in reality. The thirteen inch pricks and the eighteenth birthday instant transformations from shy virgin to slut may give you some clues in that direction.

That said, I cannot believe that there are ANY activities which are physically possible that are not performed in reality, but the more outré ones are probably very rare.

Sorry it took me so long, had to track down a friend of mine who is into pony play.

Anyway, from what I have gathered so far.

Brandings do happen, even with a hot iron, though that last is rare like I said before.

A general ponygirl scene does three things, training, punishment and aftercare.

Training as funny as it sounds, involves obeying commands, doing courses and things like that. This is where you would find pulling a cart or wagon as happening. Courses really are those show horse courses you can see on TV sometimes, jumps, water traps, so on so forth. Lower jumps of course.

Punishment is more or less your standard BDSM fare, cat-o-nine tails, riding crops, being tied up and left or displayed for use so on so forth.

Aftercare really is about the same as your standard BDSM aftercare, cuddling, holding, calming down, and recovering.

Now as for the ponygirl outfit, funny thing there, it doesn't mean nude with a buttplug tail, at least not always. That really depends on your own personal kinks and your partners. You can be a ponygirl in a full body outfit, leather, spandex and whatnot. There is a buttplug, the outfit with a tail on it or there is a belt type thing that has a tail on it, generally a larger one since not being held up by an orifice that is designed to release not hold.

There is a rather interesting harness for ponygirls/boys, hands are not used it instead puts pressure on the shoulders, with a bit to complete the look. Some wear a plume, generally ostrich feather or real horse hair. They can come in all sorts of colors though I guess black or brown is the most popular.

Being a ponygirl really is more about humiliation/dehumanizing than anything else, though sex does happen alot.
