sirhugs does several questions that should be answered to make the story flow in a reasonable manner.
I think I may have a reasonable solutions to the potential problems. Here is what I have come up with.
Hubby has been doing G/F for a year. He comes home early one day and finds wife and G/F in bed having sex; he is both surprised and angry. The women manage to calm him down and sit down for a talk.
Wife says she was suspicious. Checked phone and found G/F’s number, wife tracked G/F down using the internet, went to confront G/F and they needed up talking and the wife found she liked the G/F as a person. Eventually the G/F seduced the wife into her first bi experience. Since then they have become lovers. Wife offers hubby one of two options.
Option #1 Wife will divorce hubby, G/F will swear she has been screwing hubby for a year. Wife will get the house and receive alimony taking half of his income and the two women will continue as lovers living on his money while he is living in near poverty and is getting minimal, if any sex.
Option #2, however is since both the women are bisexual and still like cock and especially like his cock they are very willing to live in a poly relationship and with the additional money the G/F brings in from her job they can live the good life and everyone can have plenty of sex.

I've been in a couple of long-distance poly relationships where we rarely got to see one another - talking months or even years between visits. The sex was great when we did get together, but it wasn't what held the relationship together.

I echo Bramblethorn. I've been in a poly relationship and the sex wasn't why it happened, what held it together, or why it fell apart in the end. I don't think the point of any relationship that is intended to be 'permanent' is sex - not today when you can - generally speaking - have as much as you want without forming a permanent relationship.

So much to build a story on. I'm interested in the girls dynamics of how it works out... I want a gf so I think I need to live it out in a story.
