RASMUSSEN has Trump up 4 points over Hillary, yet John Scott of Fox spent the morning disparaging Trump for low poll numbers. Poll numbers are all over hell these days, but I notice Trumps fortunes soar and sag where he's liked and hated. When he buys commercials at Fox his numbers rise. I suspect they want some of Hillarys millions, and the odds improve when Trump sux.

Polls are snapshots of the race, I mean, ISIS may stick an AR15 assault rifle up her ass at the finish line and send her to Paradise and 71 virgins, but when the polls are s'posed to capture the same scene, and don't, youre forced to wonder WTF!

The reason the polls vary so much is obvious, if they're being done honestly, which is a big if, but assuming they are being done honestly, the fact they're contacting people randomly means they are getting random results.

Fox made their own poll at rougly the same time showing the opposite result. Which poll will Fox tout as accurate, their own or a competing one?

My main news page is https://news.google.com, and I am continually amazed that The Donald stays at the very top or just below the very top of its listing of "Top Stories" virtually every single day, and has for several months now - no matter what else is going on (eg, he's currently sitting #2 to the Constantinople jihadi attack).

"Luzerne County is one of seven counties in seven battleground states that can be viewed as bellwethers in presidential elections, according to a consulting firm that last month conducted a poll putting Donald Trump ahead by 17 percentage points in the county.

The firm, Axiom Strategies, is run by Jeff Roe, who ran Ted Cruz’s Republican presidential campaign. It polled Luzerne County voters June 3 through June 5.

The poll found 51 percent supporting Trump, 34 percent backing Democrat Hillary Clinton, 4 percent for Libertarian Gary Johnson, 5 percent for someone else and 6 percent undecided."


These bellwether county polls are extremely predictive of how a state will vote, especially when the poll is done right before an election. Vigo County here in Indiana always votes the same way the entire state votes, for example. Been that way for generation after generation of Hoosiers.

The 17 point lead in the Luzerne County poll is hard to believe, and it's early, but it's interesting since it's of that particular county. I pay more attention to these kinds of polls than I do to national polls.
