poll: favorites?

No not yet.... ain't got around to it... to much else going on....

How else would I find them again otherwise?? ;)

I also like it when other authors use the favorites section as well...it has exposed me to several new authors that I may not otherwise have discovered (as well as given me an idea of a few to avoid.)

When the favorites section became available, I loaded it up. But I haven't maintained it because it is a bit of a chore to do it.

Storiesonline.net has an "Bookmark" button with every story, as I remember. So flagging it is a cinch.

The difficulty in using the favorites section on Literotica is probably the reason it isn't used that much.

Very true. It would be nice to have an easy way to add them to the list.

I'm going to

As soon as I get a round tuit.
I have gotten some good links to authors with similar likes. I check it when I like a story, or several from the same person, to see who else they know writing similar stuff.

So I would like to advertise the good ones I have found through the years.

do you use the favorites section of your author profile?

ed

I use it to find my own personal favorities quickly. As for the list that has been generated by it, it's certainly no true judge of the quality of the writers on this site. There's an absolute illiterate in the top ten, as well as a couple with these strange cult followings who use their blog sites to implore people to put their names on this thing as well as instructing them to bash and troll other writers during contests.

It was an interesting idea, but not worth a great deal.

Hello yourself dear

Great minds think alike.

p.s. you still rock!

Yeah, I use mine too. I think it's a valuable part of the site for fellow writers. It is a little tedious to use, but I plan on maintaining my list as best as I can (as far as authors go; I haven't started filling my story or poem favorites lists yet, and I might not ever do so).

I also do it. I tend to pick more off beat stories si it helps promote them.
