You're right, but the fed govt and Department of Homeland Security are federalizing local and state law enforcement, arming them with hardcore military weapons, and training them that the public is the enemy and that everyone is a potential criminal or terrorist whom is guilty until proven innocent.

Law enforcement in America is becoming an aggressive, militarized, and oppressive extension of an increasingly totalitarian government.

Police are being trained that the public is not something that they protect, but rather an enemy that needs to be suppressed and dealt with.

Police are being given military combat training and armed with military weapons and armor. The reinvention and militarization of civilian law enforcement as a tool for political repression and intimidation by an authoritarian regime has resulted in countless injuries, deaths, and completely unjustified use of force.

99% of police officers are good and honest people, but the federal government is quickly replacing the good cops with an army of militarized shock troops who are thoroughly trained to see us as the enemy and are extremely aggressive. All under the ridiculous guise of the fraudulent war on terror.

Mike I'm not going to dismiss each of your points as there are some I agree with. This vid is slanted to support a point of view. Without having factual information, I'd guess that those police departments that cover a large population have a swap team for times when need. Most are uniformed officer in cars and on foot patrol.

Unfortunately there are people who feel the need to abuse their authority but I don't see any evidence of a coordinated plan to militarize all police forces.

DHS (department of homeland security) does have plans to federalize and militarize most/all of civilian law enforcement on the local/county/state levels to fulfill sinister ulterior political motives.

Eventually martial law will be declared nation-wide and actual military will be performing the duties of police.

This has nothing to do with fighting crime or terrorism, but rather ultimately subverting democracy in trade for totalitarian rule. Did I mention that there are continuity of government (CoG) programs which permanently abolish the constitution and bill of rights!

They should be making marijuana and other victimless crimes legal so that the HS and local police can be much better utilized to protect us from terrorists.

There is sufficient evidence to point out that war on terrorism is an elaborate fraud designed for the purpose of slowly dismantling freedom, democracy, and the American way of life. The government makes it out to sound as though terrorists are around every single corner, so we need to be searched, screened, vetted, interrogated, intimidated, and have to give up our privacy to ensure that we aren't the "terrorists" who don't actually exist.

9/11 as well as every single minor terrorist incident since then has been a cunning false flag/black operation perpetrated by rogue criminal elements of US/foriegn government and intelligence. The US government as well as many other governments are being controlled by some sort of shady global criminal enterprise motivated by global hegemony and increased profits for the armaments industry.

The armaments industry has made countless billions of dollars by selling military weapons and equipment to police departments.

The militarization of law enforcement is also driven by profit.
 
jackboot law? What is jackboot law? Is not America a democracy where the people are in charge of their affairs?
 
Mike, consider it a balance of power where the police are armed as heavily as the gangs which have taken over large parts of north american cities.
