Damnit,

I was just at the club enjoying the bands and hanging out with buddies when I was walking past the sound guy. He asked if there was a fight outside because the bouncer had run out. Silly me says "I'll find out"

Well, there was a brawl outside. Some drunk couple in the middle of a divorce were out there fighting with the whole his side and her side going on and my bouncer buddy in the middle. So Betticus is in the middle of it all too. To my surprise undercover cops end up coming out of the woodwork, they were there watching for drunk drivers to leave an hour later when the club closed. Cops arrive, bust the couple but then the drama ensues. The girls friends are all part of a group of deap people from the university so they can't talk to the police and vice versa.

I end up with the hot deaf girls number and she is interested in the betticus, said to call her tomorrow for sure.

We had to take the whole deaf crew to a nearby friends house to calm down and explain exactly what was going on to them (all girls). The ex husband was the boyfriend of one of the deaf chicks and she was hysterical..

I'm still a bit confused.

Wishing you best of luck. If things progress you might ask Serijules for some helpful advice.

I wonder if she has one of those phones that converts voice to text? You might suggest exchanging email addresses.

Make a good impression the next time you two meet...learn how to say hello and spell her name.

Sweet. Sounds like you got it covered.

Just keeping it real and on the down lo. My game is like a golf score card. the scores so low I can taste plaid. Lately I have been developing Playstation type games. I am using the unreal editor and half-life editor to develop realtime 3D environments games. With school, work, and home...nada time for pleasantries.

That sucks man but I'm glad you've been busy with work. I saw a teaser for the xbox 360 version of grand theft auto and it looks mad phat!

Get your buttocks in here more often, I'm getting too much attention from girls.

I was wondering how you were planning to call a deaf girl, heh.

But then again I don't use TTY so I have zero experience using a phone. I do text messaging too, but it is "too much bother" for most people.

I would imagine dating a deaf girl might take the edge out of verbal humiliation.

Depends on what level of deafness they have and what forms of communication they use. I'm deaf but I don't sign at all, I lipread.

Besides, even those that sign, ASL IS their "verbal" communication, so it's just an adjustment from the norm is all.

I just gota ask, what does this do to that whole Dom Voice question?

sorry.

I really don't want this to be insensitive. The juxtaposition of this thread and the active one from last night struck me as a little funny.

Dom energy can be expressed many ways. Voice is one, but in the end that will fade quickly if nothing is there behind it in support.

I stand corrected.

Now you have me imagining what it'd be like to slap http://www.masterstech-home.com/Images/ASL_Dict_Gifs/S.GIFhttp://www.masterstech-home.com/Images/ASL_Dict_Gifs/L.GIFhttp://www.masterstech-home.com/Images/ASL_Dict_Gifs/U.GIFhttp://www.masterstech-home.com/Images/ASL_Dict_Gifs/T.GIF on a girls ass while fucking her from behind.

Bruised patterns hmmmmmm

The "s" would certainly leave deeper bruising, and certainly hopes of spelling Mississippi would never come to mind. :D

For that matter, think of the ADVANTAGES here, especially with a lipreader....

my Ma'am can give me the order to drop to my knees from across a crowded club and know I will obey, or make me blush when I'm in conversation with another by mouthing to me what a slut I am, or telling me to clench my ass around the plug I'm wearing.

Not to mention no hearing person can get to the level of sensory deprivation that a deaf person can, even with earplugs <g>

That makes a whole lot of sense to me!

I don't know about in New Mexico, but here on the west coast their's the california relay system. What you do is have a third person. S/he types what you're saying, then they have two choices. When I talk to my grandma things go blank for them and she talks to me. What it means is that they're only getting half the conversation. If the deaf person can't talk, then the relay person will read what they're typing.

I used to have my own tty, and before that I had a tdd, but when it broke I didn't bother getting a new one. Now me and my grandma just email eachother and if we HAVE to talk we use California relay.

And I gotta agree, Marquis, where'd you get that font?

Seri ............I so 'get this' . I understand and use daily a modified version of Australasian signing with one specific member of my family. I love how we can hold entire conversations from a distance to each other and take it totally for granted untill someone else 'hears' me verbally comment . It catches me off guard when others find it amazing . I do love however that its so special to the relationship , goes to show without even knowing it an open mind and the will to just 'be' that some things that will always be closed to others are embraced by us just simply because we 'are'.

(sideline : Miss Rose seems to be holding back on the cherry stem trick I may be looking in your direction soon....laughsmiles )
