Some folks figured that traitors and invaders don't deserve places of honor. FSU (former USSR) states have been toppling and segregating statues of Lenin and Stalin for quite awhile. Put all the statues of Stalin together in a grotto so they watch each other. Here we can put statues of southern traitors in military cemeteries so they can oversee their victims.
