In case any cat or dog owners (USA, EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, BRAZIL) have been out of the loop, some of the most popular brands of pet food have been recalled after causing fatal kidney failure in several thousand animals. The FDA blames shipments of wheat gluten from China that were allegedly contaminated with an ingredient used to make plastics, and distributed to plants owned by Menu Foods, which manufacturers over 100 brands of cat and dog food.
