I purchased one at Christmas, or before or somewhere about then. Time has done a wierd warp thing on me and I doubt even now I know the right month it is.
Anyways....
the dildo part is fine, both ends vibrate which is lovely, and I highly recommend. But the strap sucks. I have to remake it with something better. It is a thin plasticy, fake leather thing that is so long you could strap each other....

My first advice if possible is dont buy the harness online. Even though you send measurments with most it is not going to be as good a fit if you try it on in person.
My second advice, buy an assortment of O-rings that can fit into it. It allows for greater versatility.

- make sure that the dildo on the harness isnt completely straight but shaped like a natural penis - this will give the fuckee a better feeling
- if you can afford it go for a leather harness, the plastic harness is more likely to cut into your skin
- make sure that you can change the size of the harness quickly... it is kinda annoying when you have to fiddle for ages to make it fit
- dont go for black rubber cocks... the material seems to rub off quicker and the spotted dick effect is not so sexy
- see if you can get a harness where you can put a variety of cock on. they are usually 50% more expensive but well worth it because it gives you greater variety

Ditto on the comment about leather harnesses. I have a leather one and a nylon one, and the leather one is more comfortable and doesn't make that annoying backpack strap sound!
My other suggestion is to get one with a backing behind the dildo. There are dildos that have little nubbins that you won't get to feel, but that backing provides so much better control. Something like this rather than something like this. (Those happen to be the two I have, but the pictures are from Blowfish.)

Just to add to the discussion. I had a great conversation one night at the sex shop with a couple and the older woman *mid 40's- 50's* came up with an ingenious idea of making a strap on that is built into a girdle like device so there is firm support all around and not all the fussing with straps, I think it would allow for better control.
Just my two cents...or hers really.
