Poetry and Lyrics in Motion

twist my arm baby. ;)

And since many people can't understand her, here's the (very timely) lyric~

Save The Country
Laura Nyro

Come on people
Come on children
Come on down to the glory river
Gonna wash you up
And wash you down
Come on people
Come on children
There's a king at the glory river
And the king loved to sing
In the sun -
"We shall overcome"

I got fury in my soul
Fury's gonna take me
To the glory goal
In my mind I can't study war no more
Save the people
Save the children
Save the country

In my mind I can't study war
In my mind I can't study war
There'll be trains of blossoms
There'll be trains of music
There'll be music...

I'm soooo glad

I'm not the only one posting in this thread anymore.

Oh and gentlemen thank you both for the home movies. They're great. :D

Tath, I saw Crimson on that Discipline tour and saw Adrien Belew do Elephant Talk. I had seen King Crimson a few times before then and thought they were at their best with that group of musicians (Fripp gets a little too spacey for me sometimes).

Bogus, that video reminds me of a quote from a Ted Berrigan poem:

There's only one way to describe true love.
Does anybody know what it is?

Come back soon. Bring your friends. And here, have some Bukowski
