There are more than one of us out there. I would hazard a guess that all of us have poems that are a few votes shy of the coveted 10 votes sitting in the queue. As we know, less than 10 votes keeps us off the top lists.

If you've got a poem lacking in votes, please, post a link to it and some abject begging here. The rest of us, naturally, will go right in and vote for you!

Or that's the theory, at any rate.

:)

I have more votes taken away than I get. I guess they are low votes because the scores go up, but if it keeps up I'll be in negative votes before long.

I am happy to know that vote evaporation occurs to someone besides me. :)
I have come to think that they have an expiration date like frequent flier miles, or that the computer program has a quota to meet. :)
However, I loose votes of all values.

Please see this older thread "1" for great examples of how to get others to assist by posting and voting.

I attribute it to bit rot

Ones grow weary of standing tall
and fall
and turn
to nothing at all.

I just checked, and as I thought, none of mine have 10 votes. Indeed, as we all seem to experience the vanishing vote syndrome, I'm willing to bet none of my poems have ever seen 10 votes, hence, the top lists. I'm not over concerned about this, the writing is the objective ...
