Do poems have to be 750 words long? I mean, this might be a stupid question, but I have a great poem here that I would love to submit <non erotic> but it's not 750 words.

Another question: Can I submit multiple poems (a collection, for instance, of Tanka's) which are not 750 words each...

Thanks,
Chicklet

Hi, Chicklet :rose:

Poems can be as short as you want them to be, there's no limitations.

Therefore, you can submit whatever you want to ;)

Chicklet,

If a poem HAD to have 750 words as a minimum content the few I've posted here at Lit wouldn't have gotten posted. Show us what you got... smiling softly...

Take care and go for it.

Huh?

I'm curious where you came up with 750 wds. I submitted a set of nine haiku that had far less than that.

I think that's the minimum for stories submissions.

And I've actually submited a set of 1 haiku, so you know that had to have less than 750 words... :)

You are all so helpful!

I got the 750 words from the story length. I couldn't find any rules for poems, thus assumed (you know what they say about assuming) that I had to write a certain # to submit a poem.

Excited to be getting some of my "poetry" (feel free to laugh at it once it is up) online!
