A trend I’ve noticed IRL for many years is that women who get breast augmentation 9 Times out of 10 will at some point soon afterwards cheat on their husband. I’d really love to see a loving wives story where that exact thing happens, written from the females POV, and really develop her psychology and the line of thinking behind it. You always hear that women say they got their new boobs “for themselves”, however the actions of their cheating seem to betray that assertion. Is it duplicity? Is it naïveté? Is it rationalization? Is it TRUE but her husband behaves differently? I’d love to see that get explored. And also lot of hot sex too, of course.

I have to agree to comment above, there is no contradiction. Girl gets her bobs done, she now thinks about herself as more attractive, it is not that much surprise she also is prone to look for a better party in the mating game, if opportunity presents itself.
(And, is it a surprise I hate false bobs? I think, no.)

I doubt your statistics (9 out of 10 seems outlandish to me), but I think there's a kernel of truth in this and it is a good idea for an erotic story.
A while ago, when I was married, I got tired of being out of shape and started going to the gym a lot. I lost lots of weight and gained muscle definition for the first time in a long time. My (now ex) wife told me her best friend told her she should be worried, because my new-found attention to my own fitness and appearance suggested I was having an affair or was looking for one. I wasn't, but my self image changed, and I found myself being more aware of other women and how they looked at me.
I think your concept is similar. If you focus on yourself and do something to make yourself feel and look better, you are going to feel more attractive, and it's human nature to want that feeling reflected in how others look at you. It doesn't mean that the initial intention is duplicitous or wrong. You are a more sexual person, and more attractive to others, when you do things that make you feel good about yourself. So, things are more likely to happen.
It's a good story concept.
