Ok this has been bugging the hell out of me. I hate it when I see a word and I don't know what it is. I was reading treads in the How to section and one is called Trees or something about trees. Anyways if you haven't seen it you really should it will blow you away. Well the guy made reference to the word "shap".

Does anyone know what this means? I know it is a little thing but still I would love to know because I have never come across the word. And for the life of me I can find a dictionary anywhere.

Well the guy made reference to the word "shap

It's a phonetic misspelling of "Chaps", meaning the leg guards that cowboys wear to protect their legs from sagebrush and cactus.
