Nothing would be better than a first ballot at the convention where Trump does not get it, and they nominate anyone else. That will be the final nail in the coffin of the GOP, as it is presently constituted.

Tromp is splitting the blue-collar dispossessed from the establishment so yes, the GOP will fall apart. But the establishment ain't going away. The donor class won't calmly relinquish power. The corruption is entrenched. Installing Sanders and a Dem-controlled Congress won't change much; congresscritters are pretty cheap to buy., Remember, the honest politician (or cop) is one who stays bought.
