I posted my first published story here a few days ago.

So far no comments! I guess I was expecting to either be admired or trashed. I suppose being ignored is somewhat of a complement but it doesn't help me grow as an author.

I would appreciate any critique as long as it is honest and constructive.

Read it. Good silly fun. I think it would do much better in the sci-fi or non-human category. The noncon/rel folks are looking for a particular sort of thing. The sci-fi and non-human readers are a more generous and talkative bunch anyway.

And I have to admit you've got me stumped on the button maker thing. I'm a whore for pop culture too, so kudos for sneaking one past me.

Thanks for the advice. BTW the button maker reference comes from Peer Gynt. At the end of his life he is wondering if he will go to heaven or hell. It turns out he was neither good enough or bad enough so he goes to the button maker to be remade into someone else.
