I've been looking for quite a while to find a lost story I read some time ago, after a crash wiped all data from my laptop. There's not much that I remember about it, certainly not the name of the story or its author. Here goes:
The story starts with some guy winning big in the lottery and over the course of the story he plans to buy (or build) a golf course with some other investors. Some bizarre details I still remember: one investor is a guy I believe is called Michael and he's some kind of actor while another one is a golf pro. Through their friendships, the protagonist's son becomes an actor of action movies - in Hollywood of course. If I remember correctly, it's a long and rather plot driven story that contains some adult content but is not defined by it.
Since I typically read stories on my laptop and only during long travels, I copy & paste them previously at home. I wouldn't even know where I found the story in the first place because the picture in my mind is only reading from a word document. It was most likely from here, SOL, ASSTR or any private author's site, because those are places I visit regularly.
