Hey all,
(Before you get scared by the wall of text, please at least skim it. This should be a quick find, I hope!)
I'm new to the forums, and I've been reading stories on this site on and off for about two years now. Mind control has always been my fetish, and combined with lucid dreaming, to me a very intriguing concept, made for the best story I've ever read. However, the author has since packed their bags and moved from literotica, or so I believe, as did the author of the Conflicted Series (the incest one with Damon/Kelsey, it was popular for a while IIRC).
Now, for the plot/backstory. The story itself graced the toplists for the longest time, that's what finally prompted me to read it. If I recall correctly it was categorized under Mind Control.
The story started off with a character, I think his name was David. If so that would have been the title of the series. He details flying into space, noting the scientists were correct that he would be able to fly. It is revealed he is dreaming. He goes to a pizza place, and fruitlessly attempts to get in the pants of a popular cheerleader by trying to imagine them having sex. As the story goes on he realizes he can impart his will on others by projecting his thoughts. He doesn't tell the technicians this, and as a result uses his hidden skill to seduce one of the hot technicians, her name apparently Mary Jane or along the lines of that. He also imparts a fetish onto the director, making her very turned on by the thought of him seeing her in lingerie. The whole time there is an undertone that there is some sort of attack that is going to happen in the future, a specific date is tossed around. I don't remember it at all. The story ends somehow with the government figuring out whats going on, the lab disappearing, and the hero has to prevent that attack somehow. that never happens, the story is cut off before he does. Kind of a walk into the sunset deal.
I know some things will be wrong, it's been over a year since I read that story. But seeing as though it was on the top of the most popular tab for so long I'm desperatley hoping somebody remembers the author or the story title.
