Has anyone ever been able to pull a story once it is submitted? Back in May when I was first getting started, I made an error on a post and submitted the wrong file. I submitted the rest of the story as a part 2, and found that i could send an edit later. I corrected the original file, but I can't seem to get part 2 pulled off now. I read here some where that I could edit the part 2 by sending the edit and leaving the submission box blank and telling the reson in the special remarks box. That was about 4 month ago, I tried to send Pm's with no response. ANy Ideas, just trying to clean up an old mess.

To submit an edit, you just submit the edited story, and in the box for the title, you put your story's title, and then "- EDITED."

Its a good idea to also include an explanation in the notes area.

Yeah I did that on part 1, but I am trying to delete part 2 as I have added it to the edit of part 1. I simply want to stop people from emailing me that my story is screwed up. I know this, and have been trying to fix it for several months. I submited an edit of part 2 with no story attached, only special instructions. The edit was rejected for unreadable text file. I resubmitted with more info in the instruction box and as of now had forty nine views but no further rejection or no move to pull the story. thanx

sorry I was typing while you posted your instructions. thanx, do you think it will also delete the pending edit as well?

Mismused, I am sad that you deleted all your stories (and most forum posts). You are indeed a person of mystery, and since that is your preference perhaps I should not be sad, but you are a nice person and so I am.

:) Do you like lesbian love stories? If you do, that is what I mostly wrote, and if you didn't see them, I am truly sad too -- if you like lesbian love stories, that is.

A person of mystery?  :D Not hardly. Ask and you shall receive, all but gender, orientation, status, age, exact location, just those things I didn't answer on my bio. Anything else is available -- for the most part.

Now you, you are a very great mystery, to me, at least. You have a way about you that is so rare, a grace that none other has in their posting. No, I won't say it here, not openly, but no other has it. How? Why? That is, what brought that about? And your range of knowledge, your curiosity. Mercy, what a joy you are, though honestly, most times I don't understand you, but I do see that you are very knowledgeable.

Yes, sweetie, it is you that are such a mysterious person. To me, that is. :D :rose:

ETA: to add emoticons
I am blushing - you are too kind. And confirm my previous post - you're a nice person. :rose:

Thank you Thank you

Reenter it as if you were entering it new. Use all the required fill-ins as you did when you first put it in, including the "i agree box," as well as your story line, and what kind of story it is. Just as you did the first time.

In the title box, be sure you have it exactly as it is originally, and add "delete" this way (pretend your title is :I'm yours." You would enter it this way:

I'm Yours[delete]

Notice no spaces between the title and the html thingy or the word delete.

In the body where your actual story went, simply write [delete] Nothing else.

In the notes field, add the [delete] the same as you did in the story box.

Be sure to check all boxes, comments, votes, as you did originally.

That should take care of it. I have deleted all of my stories in this manner. A very nice lady told me how to do it after she had figured it out.

ETA: Sorry, Cloudy. I was typing as you were posting.

It worked perfectly, thank you for the help. I owe you big time.
