Am I doing this correct?

I am new here. I enjoy what I have so far read here. I submited a poem cause I like word sounds but it is not displayed yet. How long does it take for my poem to be displayed? What are the rules that must be obeyed? Or some standard I must reach. Are there things I do not know? I take great care with my poem words. I have read your stikies. What don't I know that I have still to learn?

My poem is entitled One of thre Roving Kind. Please tell me if you like it if it is acepted and approved.

Poems you've submitted usually show up the next day, unless you submit them late. Though, we've been having weekends were no poems show up for 2 or 3 days.

No standard to reach for literotica. Just reach your own personal standard of excellence.

Literotica has rules... I'll go find the thread. It's been a long time since I was there.

So far it has 2 comments and 4 votes out of 50 views.
3 of the votes were 5 and 1 is a 2. Is this normal?
One of the comments was very nice and I think the other said my poem had no meaning (probably the 2 voter if people who comment also vote.).

Any more comments or feedback would really be appreciated (votes are nice to.).

Should I dumb down my poems as the one critic says for the readers of Literotica who read poems? I thought several of the poems I have read here were very complex and the poets good, maybe I am wrong??

I haven't read your poem yet, but please for the love of all things holy, please don't dumb anything down. Appealing to the lowest common denominator is cowardly, if nothing else.


Edited to add: I read. I voted. I liked it quite a bit. And I'm sticking to my plea.
