One day the Queen looked into her mirror and asked,
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" And the magic mirror, which could only reflect the truth, replied,
"Snow White. Snow White is the fairest of them all."
Of course, the answer had, ever before, been the the Queen, so it is fair to say that the Queen was quite likely now the second fairest of them all, and not so far beyond Snow White's beauty, since only a day had passed.
Still, the Queen was quite disconcerted. She was not the fairest! Ever calm, the Queen gazed into the mirror, looking at Snow White, innocently walking along the forest, all of the animals following her. And the Queen realized that yes, Snow White was quite beautiful. And so, the Queen traveled to the forest, and spoke to Snow White.
"Oh Snow White, truly you are the fairest of them all!"
And then, the Queen violently ripped off Snow White's clothing. The sudden action scared all of the animals away. As did the loud, happy cheers of Snow White as she screamed her joy to the second fairest of them all. And for those several moments, Snow White was even more beautiful than she had been before.
