Two parents married to other partners gradually develop a mutual attraction over a series of after school playdates. One rainy afternoon, the kids settle in to watch a movie, then nod off. The parents start making out on the couch, then sneak to the bedroom next door.

I've been toying with this idea, where one couple is the traditional and the other couple the father stays at home. they become close friends and things heat up. when they start to feel guilty about the sex, they make plans to include their spouses

aww yes, the inevitable hot tub sequel- I picture THAT happening on a weekend get away with the kids left with grandparents or other relatives.
