She arrives at the address her sons friends mom had texted her. They hadn't met yet, but our sons had hit it off at school. We set up a playdate during Easter break, so the boys could have fun, and maybe I could make a new friend.
She walked up the path to the house holding Tommys hand, when his friend, Jimmy, came running around the corner. Tommy he screams come see my treehouse, and the boys take off running. "Hi Jimmy," I shout to there retreating backs, "and be careful" I say as they disappear from sight.
Knocking on the door, waiting for someone to let me in. She stood there thinking, how she could really use a new friend. She was new in town and except for the kids and teachers at the Pre-K program, she didn;'t know anyone.
She took a look at her outfit and hoping it wasn't too casual. Not bad Celeste she thinks, giggling when she realizes she's acting like this is a first date.
