Okay, I'm playing today.
I grabbed a large slab of meat this morning and cut it into thin strips. I dosed it with Salt, Pepper and Garlic and let it sit for a couple of hours.
I then fired up the smoker and turned down the heat as far as I could.
After placing the meat on the racks I have been slow smoking it for the past couple of hours. (Turning off the flame when the heat goes above 200 degrees.) Slowly, oh so slowly I have been drying these fairly thin strips of Beef. I'm thinking I might have some good Jerky when I'm finished. (I might have to do this again tomorrow.)
So how did you spend your day today?
