The OOC / Casting-Call thread is here.
We could still use some more groupies. I mean, hey, after all, who doesn't love groupies?

------------------------------------------

"Ahhh! YES!"

George jumped, punching her fist into the air as the band tore into the start of its final song. Her favorite of their songs. She cupped her hands around her mouth and screamed cheers at her friends on stage. This had been an amazing gig—the entire pit was filled with screaming, sweaty people, all jumping and grinning just as much as she was. Each of Mikey’s riffs had leapt flawlessly from his guitar, and every one of James’ fills had been awesome enough to impress even George.

The slender drummer ran her fingers through her hair and turned to dramatically mouth the lyrics to her friend Tig, but instead found herself singing to a completely wasted, half-naked girl screaming wildly and reaching out desperately towards the vocalist.

"OHMIGAWD!!! DEXTERRR! DEXXXXXXXXXTER!!! AAAAAAH!!"

Jesus Christ, she was almost crying, she wanted that boy so badly. George almost tried to fight the urge to laugh, but totally didn’t. She cracked up and looked to Dexter, waggling her eyebrows suggestively and throwing a few oh-you-know-you-want-summa-dat glances in the girl’s direction. She grinned at his non-verbal response before launching herself back into the music; her arms flew up in the air and her eyes closed, the lyrics dancing subtly across her lips.

As the band played its final chord, George opened her eyes and grinned broadly; the screams of the crowd were deafening. She caught her brother’s eye as he wailed on his bass and gave him two thumbs up. This had been an amazing gig. Probably their best in a while.

The crowd began to make its way towards the stage door, taking the blonde and anyone else who’d been standing still along with it. After taking a look around for Tig (which was kind of difficult due to her lack of height), George decided to push her way towards the stage door. If she couldn’t find her friend now, she’d eventually see her backstage. Squeezing through the throng of hysterical fans was a challenge, but not one she had not faced before. After a bit of shoving and useless "’scuse me"-ing, George finally made it up to the door where a large black man with the word "STAFF" stenciled on his shirt stood. She gave the man an exaggerated military salute and grinned as he greeted and opened the door for her. The cries of the fans crescendoed violently as she slid through the door—people were clearly angry that the Chaos’ sister could get backstage while they could not. George chuckled to herself. Oh the perks of being in with the band.

After walked a super short distance to the dressing room—if it could even be called that—George pounded her fist against the door and swung it open.

"Uhhhh, holy SHIT! Way to kick MAJOR BUTT, guys!"

James Looked up. " Hey look who It is!!! our number one fan!!!" he said. James had Developed a crush on George a while Back, But he had never told her. "hey chaos, You want your LITTLE sister in here while we change?" he smiled at her, Then looked at dexter "we FUCKING ROCKED!!!!!! Didnt we???"

"Finally found you!" Tig smiled as she made her way to stand beside George "Some girls almost killed me 'cause I could get inside and they couldnt. Anyways That was amazing!!!" she said smiling at her friends then chuckled and showed them her torn long sleeved shirt. One of the groupies outside had grabbed one of her sleaves and ripped it off. She chuckled as she ripped the other off "Now thats better. Hey James? Could you do me a favor? Clean your sweat with this, I wanna try something?" she said as she gave him the sleave and looked at the groupies fighting to get inside, intention in her eyes.

Felix sat in the corner, still in the clothes that he had been wearing on stage. He had his shoulder pressed into his knee and had his chin balanced on his palm. In his other hand he had a handful of pieces of paper that he was thumbing through. He looked up for a moment when George walked in but quickly looked back down to the package of papers that he was flipping through. George was attractive, and he had noticed her, but he had also noticed that James was hot in the pants for her, meaning that he couldn't win her anyway.

He sighed softly and looked over the papers again. None of those screaming girls had been hot for him. They had been screaming for the vocalists, the drummer, the bassist, and the lead guitar, but he wasn't that important. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He sighed softly. He was always unnoticed, but it suited him. He had no desire to be the one that was pulled into the crowd.

James looked at her quizzically but obeyed. "what is this all about?" he asked. He smiled and looked at her "aww does someone want a keepsake?" he asked sarcastically.

Tig glared at him "You wish" she said under her breath. She had had a crush on James for awhile but had just pushed it aside. She was always gonna be Tig, the over protective friend but she was ok with that. She chuckled and threw the sleave over the securrty guys head, making the fans get off him and scarmble to get the torn sleave. She grinned as she saw the guard give her a silent thanks "You see? You do help without knowing it sometimes" she told him grinning as she leaned against the door.

James smirked. "Fuck you tig!" he then went back to what he was doing. He picked up his drumsticks and laughed "You really wanna see something? toss em these" he said, but his eyes wondered over to George......."So, When are you gonna take the stage like that beautiful? I mean you RIP on drums"

George wrinkled her nose and popped an eyebrow.

"Pfft I may rip, but I rip for myself, Thirty-Nine."

She grinned at her joke. Jimmy Carter was the thirty-ninth President of the United States. And eighty-third Governor of Georgia...but that wasn’t nearly as cool.

She noticed a desk/dresser-type-thing against the wall nearest to her and half-skipped over to it. Someone’s jeans were lying in crumpled heap on top of it, right where she wanted to sit, so she scooped them up to make some room. Sliding herself onto the desk top, George set the jeans down next to her and grinned. She loved coming into the dressing room after a specially fantastic gig. Everyone was always alive with after show glow.

Well...almost every one.

George gave a cheerful wave to Tig as she entered the dressing room before hopping off the desk. Running her fingers through her hair, she made her way over to where Felix was sitting in the corner. Her brow furrowed. It had been such an awesome gig...isolating yourself wasn’t exactly the expected reaction.

"Great show, butthead."

She gave Felix a gentle punch in the shoulder.

"You okay?"

James walked over to his clothes, and began to get dressed. " ANYONE READY TO GET DRUNK?" he yelled. He sat down for a second and rolled a joint. " I guess its time to party."

Tig chuckled "Yeha yeah... tough love for you too" she said as she entered and sat on an empty seat. She looked around her and smiled at George. "Hey Felix! Whats wrong man?" she asked as she glanced over at him.

Felix looked up at George for a moment, "Yeah I'm okay." He closed his eyes for a few moments. He looked up at her trying not to be so bad. He sighed softly and gently ran his hands through his hair, "Thanks about the show though. It was pretty good. Except for the girl who was trying to rush the stage and rape Dexter." He smirked for a moment and watched George for a few moments more, "James is right tough. I'm sure you would make an amazing drummer...you might even be able to replace him one day." He smiled softly and then leaned back in the chair that he was sitting in.

He looked over to Tig for a moment, "Nothing is wrong." He smiled softly, "We just had a great show. There's nothing wrong after that."

James looked over at tig, and then at George, He knew he would prolly never have a shot at george........" hey Felix, you ready to get messed up?, Its cool dude we are gonna get you fucked up and laid and what ever problems you've got, will dissapear!"

"Ahh, yes."

George smirked at Felix's comment about the crazy groupie girl.

"She, she was a keeper."

With a flick of her fingers, she tossed a few annoying strands of blonde from her eyes and grinned as Felix complimented her skills.

"Pshhht. I could replace that bitch today."

She placed her hands on her hips importantly and pulled a sarcastic conceited expression onto her face. George wasn't really that good at accepting compliments, so she'd just spit out some sort of witty remark instead. She let out a sigh as she heard James rave about the party that was to come.

"Ugh, screw you guys. Chaos deemed me the effing designated driver."

George wrinkled her nose in disappointment. While she wasn't a heavy drinker, she'd definately had her share of drugs. No needles or anything, but she was almost always up for something to make her feel funky. At least, she was when her brother wasn't around. Stupid schmuck. Ruins all the fun.

James smiled at George. "Hey look come here, hit this joint, and Ill talk Chaos in to letting little sister have some fun ok?" he sttod up and put on a really tight White Wife beater which showcased his rock hard abs perfectly. finally he spiked his hair up and put on his sunglasses. " Besides, It isnt a party without ya punk" He joked

Felix smirked at George's dismay over being the designated driver. Yeah, it definitely did sound like her brother to decide that she wasn't going to be partaking in the joy of mind-altering substances. Felix also watched James for a few moments. The problem with all of this was that Felix wasn't much of a drinker, or much of a druggie himself. He had a drink every once in a while, but even after a great gig like that one, he had no desire to forget what happened at the party. It made him look like a square, but at least tomorrow he wouldn't have a hangover so powerful that they couldn't practice, and that every strike of James' drums caused him to feel like his ears should be bleeding.

He placed the pile of papers inside his guitar case. They had a few song ideas that he had been throwing around scribbled onto them, but he wasn't even going to try to pitch them to the rest of the band. He wasn't the vocalist, he was rhythm guitar. his job really did require the least amount of actual musical talent. What did he know about writing songs. It didn't matter much though. None of them were finished anyway.

He sighed and leaned back on the chair that he was sitting in, "So you plan to drag me out to some party, get me drunk to the point where I don't remember my name, and then stick me in a room with some floozy who won't know my name either? As awesome an idea as that is, I think I might just have to pass on that, Jimmy. If I'm going to wake up with a naked girl sprawled out on top of me, I'd rather it not be one who asks who I am"

Tig chuckled "Dont worry George. Have fun. I'm not really in a drinking mood tonight. I'll drive" she said as she relaxed against the couch and played with the necklace she had on.

James laughed at felix, " Man, you have to have some fun, be it you screwing a random chick....." he trailed off and tured and looked a tig " or that sexy beast" He Laughed and continued " you have to party with us bro, we wouldnt be a band without you"... James Took a huge hit from The joint and sat back..... he then looked at Tig " say tig, why dont you just ROCK felix's WORLD!!!"

George took a glance around—just to make sure her brother wasn't lurking in a closet or something—before walking over to James and plucking the joint from his fingers.

"You’re a terrible friend, you know that? Giving his sister a joint while he’s not here."

She shook her head in mock-disapproval and took a drag from the joint. Grinning, she took a second drag before placing it back into his grasp. She knew she shouldn’t do too much before James got the OK from Chaos. Since it was somewhat unlikely he’d budge on his protective-brother position, figured she’d stay fairly sober for all their sakes.

"Oh, shut up, Felix."

George pulled him out into the hallway and pointed out the stagedoor. Immediately the volume of the fans escalted...not to the point of deafness, but it wasn't a weak difference, either.

"Everyone knows who you are."

She grinned and pushed him back into the dressing room.

"Sweet, Tig--thanks! I mean, I probably won't get too ridiculous tonight, seeing as how I'll be under close supervision."

She rolled her eyes.

Tig chuckled "Its no sweat George. Just dont tell Chaos" she said winking at her. She glared at James "Call me a sexy beast again and I swear youre dead" she said.

James smiled at her. "Hey, look dont get short with me" he laughed at the joke he made about her height. He then walked over to George and wrapped his arm around her neck, and handed her the joint. " AH oh well we all know who is sexy here huh little chaos?" James then smiled at Tig, " and sorry for complementing you, it wont happen again" he added sarcastically

Felix sighed as he wandered back to where he was sitting before. He knew that George meant well, but he secretly wondered if there would be screaming if some random janitor walked out. It didn't matter though. She had managed to boost his spirits a bit. He still wasn't interested in taking some random groupie girl that he didn't know into a room and waking up with her the next morning thought, and he wasn't really that interested in getting plastered either. If anything staying sober just so that he could tell his band mates all of the stupid things they had done was enough to make him smile.

As James made the comment about Tig rocking his world he blinked slightly and then looked back to his guitar case. That was James, saying things like that without really thinking about who he said them to. It was obvious if anyone cared to pay attention that Tig had a bit of a crush on James. That wasn't that much of a surprise though. It seemed that a good deal of the female population wanted to get under the covers with the band's drummer. James hadn't seemed to notice that Tig seemed to have a crush on him, but the signs were there. The teasing him about how much work he did, and the teasing back when he teased her.

Tig chuckled "Yeah, thank you for not ebarrasing me. The cute ones are always the blond girl and the silent band member, right Felix" she said winking at him. She chuckled and got up, stretching "By the way, James, I may be little, but you know I'd beat the crap out of you if I really wanted to" she said smiling as she leaned against the wall.

George squirmed as she felt James’ strong arm wrap around her.

"Oh, get off, ya jerk."

She unwound herself from his grasp and brushed her shoulders off (haha. unintentional.) with exaggerated motions, as if to rid herself of his cooties. Not that James was unattractive by any means. George just wasn’t really in the mood to be stoned into attraction. If that happened at all, with anyone, it would be saved for the party. Besides, Tig liked James...a lot. And there was no way that George would ever do something that she knew would hurt her friend. Perhaps if she played her cards right, she could get Tig and James together...or at least somewhat...by the end of the party.

James looked over at tig. " I tell you what Punk! "he stopped and walked over to her and poked her in the ribs, " you better watch who you are talking to!" He joked " or else" he added, he then turned to George. " now give me my pot back you mean ass little....." he stopped. Something hit him.....maybe tig liked him....It had never hit him until now......

Chaos walked into the dressing room, beer in one hand, his shirt from the gig in the other.

"Mean ass little what?," He flopped onto the couch before nodding to the group.

"Ey, Felix, ye really should hang around the stage a bit more after the show. Couple of hotties were askin' about ya," he nodded towards his little sister and Tig.

"Evenin' ladies, hope security didn't give you too much flak."
