OOC: Clay Davis. Shortstop, Sacramento Scorpions.
Six-three, two hundred. Three time all-star. Blonde, handsome, heartthrob.
OOC: It was an off day for the team, so I did what I did with most of my rapidly-shrinking free time: I went to visit sick kids in the hospital. I spent over two hours trying to cheer them up, signing autographs, taking pictures, and just talking baseball. I hung around until the nurses ran me out. I was heading for the elevator when I heard a woman's voice call my name.
A beautiful woman walked up to me and introduced herself.
"My brother Tommy is one of the kids you saw today," she said. "You just made his day. He hasn't been this happy since he got sick...."
Her eyes started to tear up, and I instinctively placed my hand on her shoulder. She placed her hand on top of mine, looked in my eyes, and said, "I wish there was something I could do to show my appreciation."
